A Mark Manhone (from “Freeman Homes LLC”) contacted me from a Linked In post for a Data Entry position I applied for. They then sent me the email of their “HR” Larry Dunn to set-up a typing interview via Microsoft Teams. They used an actual businesses webpage of the company they said they were to appear legitimate. They then said I was hired and asked me for my address, email, and full name to send me a check for equipment I needed to purchase. I found it strange that they would ask that, I contacted the actual company to confirm if it was them and they said I was the 5th person checking, she said it was a scam! They don’t have anyone who works there with those names and they are not hiring or have ever posted anywhere! Please beware!!
