I paid $600 to secure the adoption of a French Bulldog from someone who originally told me they were in LA, CA. Then, they said they were in Utah, then they said the puppy was flying to Texas. Then we called the airport after the scammer requested an additional $1,000 for transportation fees. The airport advised us that this is a scam. We notified the person we sent money to, who said he was going to turn the puppy over to a quarantine for abandoned puppies. We tried to call him and speak to him, he ignored our calls and refused to speak with us further.
