I received a call on my cell phone about me being eligible to receive a 9,000 grant and they said that it was due to the ARRA act of 2009. They confirmed a few elements of information....they knew my first and last name and the city that I used to live in and zip code. No other information was mentioned, so I hope they don't know my mailing address, etc.

They gave me a "grant ID approval" number of JB781 and told me to call a "Kathleen" at 914.228-2379. The call that came to me originally was the following number: 315-652-1800 and the location is listed as Liverpool, NY. The call came in on my cell phone reading as "CHASE/178/30278" so initially it seemed as if they were calling from Chase Bank.
