A item was ordered as advertised on the "fruugo.ca" website being a specific Kidde fire alarm. A subpar and unknown brand/product was received that was not at all compatible with my hardwired smoke detector system. I made several attempts to report my concern and to initiate a return and refund via the website but received no confirmation or acknowledgement from the company. I also contacted the company via email and received no assistance or response. There is no customer service phone number available to attempt to resolve the matter via telephone.

My experience has led me to believe the website is fraudulent and/or dishonest and I have lodged a fraudulent transaction claim with my bank as well.
