In Facebook Marketplace, there was an ad for an inexpensive dresser that suited my son's needs, purported to be part of the Bed, Bath & Beyond going-out-of-business sale. I entered the information needed to buy the dresser (name, address, email, phone, credit card). The credit card was denied and there was something slightly off about the denial message, but I tried my OTHER credit card before I stopped and thought. When the second card was denied, I realized it was a scam to steal my card numbers, and then realized I was at a site called furnituresale.shop. I canceled my credit cards and changed my Facebook password.

The website was claiming to be Bed Bath & Beyond liquidation, I purchased a drawer, however when I received my email it was coming from a company called furniture sales. When I googled what furniture Sales are, I was bombarded by links saying this website was a scam. I immediately called my bank to dispute the charge.

While using facebook market place i responded to pop-up ad for Bed Bath & Beyond. I purchased an item from the site and never received confirmation email or tracking number. Imposter Bed Bath & Beyond link:
