 I was "buying" a puppy from Chels Schneider Corkins from Facebook. She asked for $1200 for the puppy. I tried to pick it up, and she claimed there was an emergency and that we would not be able to pick him up so she offered to ship the puppy for delivery for "$200," She stated we would get an email from the shipping company about the delivery which we received from [email protected]. This "business" kept asking for money. They asked for $400 for the crate since they claimed the one the owner had was undeliverable. Then, they asked for $700 for travel insurance. They then claimed that the dog needed a city permit of $2100 to be transported to another state. Then, they asked for $400 for a dog ID. They also asked for $1300 for clearance for stamps, $900 fee for vaccines. They kept saying if we didn't pay the fees that delivery would keep being held back. I asked to just get my money refunded at one point to pick up the money and they were very insistent on receiving the money for the deliveries. I asked for a phone number to speak with a representative since they were not being transparent with their fees and they kept telling me that they were tending to so many families and are not able to take calls. They also claimed that these shipping costs were 95% refundable. After we sent them the payments they stopped responding to me. All communication was through the form of an email with the shipping company and the dog sseller was through social media.
