I was contacted by a friend on Instagram about a Bitcoin mining investment opportunity. I invested $450 in Bitcoin and registered with fxtrustmining when I was told that I made $5000. In order to withdraw the $5000 though I was told I needed to upgrade my membership with a payment of $1500 to access my funds and would get the upgrade money back in return. I went forward with the upgrade and then was shown that I made another profit this time of $45000 but would need to pay $5000 to access my funds since I made such a large gain. I realized at this point that this was an elaborate scam and checked with a mutual friend of the person who originally contacted me through Instagram and found out her account has been hacked confirming that it was indeed a scam.
