I received this email, which did not seem odd as I am in the market for a job like this:

"G-III Apparel Group is excited to bring you on board as a Video Editor, HOME (Work from Home). We’re just a few formalities away from getting down to work.

Please take a look at our Employment Offer Letter. It includes important details about your compensation, benefits, and the terms and conditions of your anticipated employment with G-III Apparel Group.

G-III Apparel Group offers a Full-Time position for you as a Video Editor, HOME (Work from Home). Please indicate your agreement with these terms and Accept this Offer by Signing and dating this agreement. Thanks

I searched for the person on LinkedIn and googled the company, connected via Skype (they use this Skype address: live:.cid.e97d571c219cb5cf) and had a very normal seeming interview, they emailed me the next day and offered me the job. I accepted and filled out their form, having read through it very carefully for any strange content. It looked fine. But I was then asked to send my driver's license in a Skype message and that seemed odd so I did more digging. If this was an email from G-III Apparel Group, it would be from a @g-iii.com email instead.

I knew this was too good to be true. I got the same thing with them asking for me to do a Skype interview. Same Skype address as J. Anderson above me. Below is what they emailed me three times after I asked them a personal question - "What time is good for you, Victoria?"

I was contacted by email from Indeed regarding a job opportunity with G-III Apparel Group. I was hesitant to do a Skype interview and when I logged in, found out it was text-based only, which I found strange. I only provided my email address, which is public on job sites anyway. I completed the interview and by 9 a.m. the next day had a job offer. They were to email me the job offer, which I haven't received yet. They used Skype address live:.cid.e97d571c219cb5cf). They claimed to be Victoria Setinlauf, HR Generalist for G-III Apparel Group.
