That said, the e-mail address submitted goes to a URL that includes the company's name, but erroneously adds ".store" to the URL. The subject line is a nonsensical "I hope this message finds you well." The position being offered does not appear on their website or LinkedIn. And the pay mentioned is easily two to three times what the company would actually pay someone for the work referenced, immediately making it suspicious.
Reviewing the analytics on my own site, I can see a hit from Japan and Thailand—but no hit from New York, where both this company and the impersonated employee are located.
The message itself is identical to another scam message posted to the ScamPulse.com just days earlier. It is as follows:

My name is [REDACTED], and I am the Senior Vice President of Human Resources at G-III Apparel Group. After reviewing your profile on Indeed, we believe your skills and experience align well with our needs for an Art Director position. We are currently seeking a remote (full-time/freelance) creative individual to join our team.
I would like to invite you to an interview via Skype to discuss the position further and to get to know you better. At G-III Apparel Group, we are always looking to grow our team with talented and creative individuals who can help us achieve great things together.
Please let me know if you're available for an interview. If so, I would be happy to coordinate via Skype (live:.cid.936c48458daeb096). The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. The position offers a competitive salary of $85 - $100 per hour, with availability for full-time, part-time, or freelance work.
