I was contacted by HR Generalist Victoria Steinlauf on December 11th with the following message. "I hope this message finds you well. My name is Victoria Steinlauf, and I am the Human Resources Generalist at G-III Apparel Group. After reviewing your profile on Indeed, we believe your skills and experience align well with our needs for a Video Editor position. We are currently seeking a remote (full-time/freelance) creative individual to join our team. I would like to invite you to an interview via Skype to discuss the position further and to get to know you better. At G-III Apparel Group, we are always looking to grow our team with talented and creative individuals who can help us achieve great things together. Please let me know if you're available for an interview. If so, I would be happy to coordinate via Skype (live:.cid.e97d571c219cb5cf). The work hours are Monday to Friday, 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. The position offers a competitive salary of $85 - $100 per hour, with availability for full-time, part-time, or freelance work. I look forward to your response. Sincerely, Victoria Steinlauf, Human Resources Generalist G-III Apparel Group". I was instructed to follow the Skype link to chat with Victoria and interview for the position of Video Editor. I was told I did well in the interview and got the job. They asked for my name/address/email and sent over a job offer form and a W-4. I asked Victoria in Skype and in the email to set up a phone call but haven't heard back since that request. It sounded too good to be true.
