We contracted with Vernon Gallegos, Galeo Painting, for exterior home painting. He approached us inquiring about work after he had done some interior painting for us with Certa Pro Painters. He was stated he was now on his own and was very professional and fully described the job in thorough detail. We signed a contract and paid him a $2500 deposit. He never showed up to complete the work using a variety of excuses to why he couldn't start the work. He agreed to repay us our deposit but missed multiple repayment dates. We had to pursue legal action to get our deposit refunded but have not yet received repayment of our deposit.
