I ordered a $1581 chandelier online in December 2021. I attempted to contact the seller, Gallery 67 from the phone number listed on their website https://gallery67.com/ at 800-590-1128. Every time I called, I was told the chandelier was on back order and that it would be another 5-6 weeks before I arrived. Due to Covid delays, I didn't find this hard to believe. I continued to call customer service for monthly updates and they kept giving me the same story, that it was on back order and they had no update. Finally in July 2022, after 8 months of waiting, I decided enough was enough! I googled the company and found horrible reviews claiming they were a scam. So I called customer service again to ask for a refund. The man on the phone named "Alex" told me they would issue me a refund and send me an email confirming that. SEE ATTACHED screenshot. As stated in the email, I waited 48 hours and once the refund did not come through as promised, I called back and Alex told me that they couldn't issue me a refund and that I had to dispute the charge with the bank or PayPal. So CLEARLY this was a total scam from the start, they never had any intentions of sending me a light or issuing me a refund, I am furious, this isn't just a couple of hundred dollars this is $1500! I cannot afford to be scammed of that money. Now when I call back, they won't take my call. Please help! They are refusing to refund the money, they NEVER sent me the chandelier and claimed to refund me the money but never did. Please do the right thing!
