They are hiring under the guise of a closed business and using BambooHr to post fake job listings and copying them to Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Linkedin, MonsterJobs, and other job posting/hiring platforms. I applied through Indeed and received an email less than 24 hours later requesting me to install signal and contact a woman named Rhoda Armstrong. I looked up the company and found that Gallium Technologies is no longer in business and is closed. I went back to check for the listing on the job posting sites and they all have since been removed and it is now only listed on BambooHR.

I submitted to this position and then conducted the interview. However, the interview took place over a disappearing messenger app called Signal Messenger. Once the interview was over, I was offered the position. They said I need a bunch of different software, and equipment; it was about 30 items. Then said they were mailing out a check to cover the costs, and that the check would arrive the next day and I was to reach out and immediately purchase the items on the list, through “their” specific vendor. My “spidey” senses were tingling like crazy. Then I started googling and found this post. I also reached out to the company directly but I guess they are no longer in business. The names that I interacted with were Rhoda Armstrong and Autumn Ocampo. Phone number 615-364-8872
