This is the second scam of this kind that I have received. They take the form of someone claiming to be participating in some sort of religious activity that takes them away from home and they want someone to stay in their house while they are gone. They cover some bases (like choosing actual companies that do that sort of activity). They don't have anyone physically at the property to show you around. He literally told me to go to the house and just look through the windows to see if I liked it. They also tend to not be able to speak/write in the most grammatical way. I flag that as a warning sign, but don't dismiss someone just because English is a difficult language to learn.

These are not people trying to do good deeds. They are people who are trying to steal your money.
