The scammers said that a GameStop store was closing and had tons of overstock that was on super sale. They offered a PlayStation 5 and a Nintendo Switch for 90 dollars (combined). I of course ordered it and upon receiving the order confirmation I realized it was a scam (it looked very real). This was November 27th 2023. I emailed them and they assured they are legit. They sent tracking numbers and promised my orders were on the way. The orders “shipped” from China. I kept checking and emailing risetor, they kept telling me to wait and offered X amount off my next order if I’d wait another week. Then I checked on December 23rd 2023 and it said my packages were delivered. I was home all day as were my neighbors, there was no deliveries that day. I emailed again and the company told me to check the post office and my neighbors. I had already done this and the post office said the tracking numbers were bogus. I emailed again and the company replied saying my packages were lost in the mail and asked if I wanted replacement or a refund. I replied with refund and when I sent the email.. the email was returned saying no such address. Today is December 26th 2023. Merry Christmas to me.
