Today, May 29, 2024, a call was placed to Bonita Garage Door Repair Wizards to repair/replace a broken garage door spring. A contractor came out and gave a verbal estimate of $600 to replace both garage door springs. Then, once the old parts were removed, the contractor told the homeowner that the price would be $6000. The homeowner ended up paying $2000 in cash and $3800 by credit card. The receipt did not match the company name as called and has a bogus phone number on it that comes up under Google as a garage door scammer in FL.
