I searched online "Garage Door opener Service Near Me" and came across a listing for Rock Garage Door Services, I called the company and they said they would send someone out.  A guy from the garage door service came and said he would try to repair garage door opener. The service fee was 225.00 and included any repair. I agreed but he couldn't repair the problem then tried to sell me an very expensive garage door opener. When he quoted me a price, I asked if the service charge was included and he said it was in addition to the opener replacement. I declined and he charged me the 225.00, but when I wanted to pay with a credit card, he said they only take cash and discounted me 25.00 for cash. I paid to avoid confrontation and get rid of him.

He turn in another receipt for 500.00 and tore My receipt up and pocketed $ 1,816.00.  I CALLED THE CO. Called to get my garage door repaired. They performed services not needed and over charged. We called the next day and they said they would check it out. They never called back! So we went to the address listed on internet and it was a sea food restaurant. Called their number and was told they were interior cabinet shop not garage door repair shop. Punta garage door repair and installation is a scam.

I found this business through a google service for garage door repair services near me. I contacted this company and they showed up in their personal vehicle. The back of the car had garage door parts parts but was definelty not a garage door repair company. I was looking to have a spring replaced and the gentlemen advised it was going to be 275.00. I was not feeling comfortable, so when I went back into the house, I did some research and determined that this company may be fraudulent. I told him that I would have to get back with him and I paid a $20 service fee for him to come out. After doing additional research the address is incorrect and when you call the phone number it says a completely different business name.

Emergency Garage door repair. the company we called was JC Garage Door Repair at 239 420-8958 in Naples, FL. The guy showed up told me due to the fact that garage cables were broken the spring ( which was one year old had to be replaced -due to safety reasons because of tension and danger to technician ) tried to charge 700.00 for new spring on single garage door ( part only). He cut the price by 200. Charged me 900.00 for new spring and cables . Took him 30 minutes. When the invoice was written it was on Lakewood Garage Repair- no address- or license info. Total Rip off. researched and they are not licensed

Arrived in unmarked out of state vehicle. Fixed springs but then garage doesn’t completely close. Hardly spoke English. Wanted cash. Asked for water. Unprofessional and scammed.

- Lehigh Acres, FL, USA

Garage door repair scammer who didn’t fix anything but charged $200 and was supposed to come back the next day to fix it and never did.

Charge comes up under a different name than what is on the receipt .

- Venice, FL, USA

Emergency garage door repair, advertised as South Venice Garage Door Repair. But invoice was Lakeview Garage Repair. Bogus service technician phone number was from Bainbridge Island, WA. Demanded $200 before fixing it. Plus didn’t speak good English. Demanded I also add a maintenance service with it as well.

Thought that was included in the $200. When he simply put pin back in chain pull, sprayed some WD-40, tightened up bolts which weren’t loose. Took 20 minutes. Then demanded $400 cash or credit card, no checks. Argued with tech, only paid $200 cash. Which was a total rip off, for what was actually done.
