I was sent an additional product which I did not order. They told me when I called, that there had been a mistake on their part and that I was not charged for it. When I called them, they said I had by August 18th to cancel . I called and cancelled on August 18th (confirmation # C16743). The next day, there appeared on my bank statement two charges $79.95 & 89.92 . I called right away and the rep (who said he was the Supervisor) said that when I gave them by credit card number, I had agreed to their terms and that meant I had to cancel "before" the 18th which was the 14th day of the trial which "begins when you purchase" (not when you receive the product). After a long hassle in which they claim they went back and listened to my original call (which they would not play for me) that the rep had said that I had to call "before" the 18th. They continued to offer refunds down to the point that they offered 75% off... being tired of the battle , I accepted that on the $89.92 charge. I asked about the other charge and they told me that was a totally different company/product and that I'd have to call 888-741-*** to settle that. I was not in any way aware that I had to cancel the other product separately.
I did then call, only to find another "Supervisor" who insisted that it was my fault because I had "agreed to the terms & conditions" which were like the ones noted above. Finally, he offered a discount which I refused ... I believe I was misled ( into agreeing to buying another product which had the same caveats). He told me that I was obviously wrong and that they were in their legal rights... that I would lose even if I protested to my credit card/bank... they have, he said a bank of lawyers who would defend their case.. In the words of another person who complained to BBB, they are a fraud and liars. When I went to a website search about the company, I found over 7 pages of company sites which were redundant and misleading.. finally found a site that many others had reported fraud and complaints with ***.
