Type of a scam Tech Support
Through the call they took control of our business accountant's computer.
They then contacted me directly with the caller ID showing Dept of Justice. They attempted to do the same tactics to gain control of my computer by coercing me, as they did the accountant, that this was the steps necessary to cancel the invoice charges. I recorded most of the call but stopped short before giving them access. We have had to freeze bank accounts, in hopes they have not gained financial access. This happened yesterday, 3/18/23.
