Its comes accross Calijobs as a job. they will reach out via text and do an text interview then ask for info after they "hire" the person

The scammer texted me about offering a work at home, remote job working on the computer. The scammer saw my resume posted on the Cal Jobs Website. I agreed to accept the job. I filled out legal documents such as W-4, gave my CA Driver’s License, Social Security Number, Bank routing number and Bank account number, Date of Birth.

The scammer sent me a check to deposit into my account. The check was for my training wages and funds used to purchase equipment for the job. The equipment consisted of computers, printers, and other office equipment. Next, I was instructed to send a check from my bank account to a certain recipient in order to purchase the equipment. I tried to Sean’s it through “Zelle” from my Bank of America mobile app. Bank of America placed a hold on the transaction stating it was for security purposes. I called the bank and the advised me that the entire process was a scam and I should not send the money. I never sent the money. Is there a way I can apprehend the scammer?
