Alexandre Gauthier is presenting himself as a handyman / contractor for home renovation . i hired him to finish my bathroom in my basement so he came a couple of time to do check the room and then he sent me an estimate. the price was lower than what the market offer and it should have give me a hint on his intentions. after a couple days he said that he has a plumber line up to do the work but he need a deposit to get the materials so i sent him 40% of the amount and the following day a plumbing company came by just to give him an estimate and not to start the work. At this point i called him a few times to understand what was hapening and this when the excuses started such as ï am busy, i have a doctor appointment, my truck broke down ...". after al this i asked him to send back the deposit and to forget about the job but he started lying about sending it or resetting his etranfert daily limit ..., i stongly recommend anyone to avoid that scammer as i believe i dodged a bullet, cause after digging more, a lot more people were complaining about how dangerous his work was and that he has no license or knowledge in the field
