Everyone that said is a scam it is. Please do not do this I am trying to save others. They will send you a check and ask for you to send some money to someone and you keep the rest or buy gift cards and you keep the rest. The check is counterfeit it will go through at the time but it will bounce. Please be aware do not sign up for this

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I was contacted through and email and phone number to complete surveys for money as a mystery shopper. After texting back "I am ready" the package arrived via USPS Priority Express. Enclosed was a letter with instructions on what was to be done as a mystery shopper and a check enclosed for $1950.00. I decided to follow up online to find out if this was a scam. Sure enough you will find this same exact story with others and warnings on the Federal Trade Commission - https://www.consumer.ftc.gov/blog/2018/05/scam-story-secret-shopping-and-fake-ch...⇄ I am writing to warn anyone not to fall into the trap. If it is too good to be true, then it is likely not true. Why would you do a mystery shop that is so unprofessional for a store that is as large as Walmart or other large retailers? If you go to the GBW website, it states that they offer mystery shopping by "HIGHLY TRAINED SHOPPERS." I was not trained at all. I have worked in retail jobs for several years. I know that they are very interested in customer feedback but not limited to the area of gift card purchases. I also know that gift cards are another big red flag. So I will not be participating in this fraud. I pray you won't either.
