They have been calling for the last 2 weeks offering free home security. They use a spoofed phone number to confuse my caller ID. If you return the call, the phone number comes up as not in service.

The initial call is a robocall.

If you say yes, you will be connected with an apparent actual person who attempts to talk to you about this "free" home security system. It truly seemed to be a system to either find people who would give them money or would allow an 'inspection' for this security system so people could case the home for possible theft.

The first time they called I told them I was on the do not call registry and to not call again.

They called more anyway.

I recieved a call at 8:25am on February 14th 2017. When I answered the scammer said "hello this is GE Home security how are you today?" then he said "can you hear me now?" Then I hung up

i'm filing a home security scam complaint against this GE home security telemarketing company and their selling home security alarm systems for people's homes and they have very bad experiences and very bad practices calling people and so this needs to be investigated because anytime they call it's an ethnic woman that's selling this product over the phone and it costs $35.00 and you have to pay $35.00 once a month and she does monitoring also and that's a fee and she is also gonna be in my are in my neighborhood selling this product and so this needs to be investigated because when she calls people when she is gonna be in their neighborhood selling this product and when people try to tell her onthe phone that their not interested she hangs up in their faces because she probably don't speak english and so she has bad experiences and bad practices calling people and i don't know where she got my phone number without my permission because i'm not interested in getting an GE home security alarm system for my home and i'm pretty sure she knows my name and i also wanna say that"i have had a telemarketing company that was selling the same thing and they were selling security alarms and it was a girl's recorded voice and this was a couple of years ago i will never forget that and they kept calling 11 times and i kept pressing 9 to opt out and when they for the 12th time about this i had to press 9 to opt out and when 2 weeks went by they called again for the 13th time and when i pressed 9 i got a recording and it was a girls recorded voice that kept calling my house and the girls recorded voice said on my house phone she said" sorry for your inconvenience for bothering about you being interested in getting a home security alarm system and we will remove your phone number off of our calling list please allow us to remove phone number off of our calling list in 24 hours to get your phone number removed off of our calling list". and i think this woman has called my house 5 or 6 times or maybe 7 or 8 times about this because i have seen this phone number before it shows up on the XXXX caller id tv instead of my house phone onthe caller id and so when i checked it her phone number is spoofed and she can get in trouble for caller id spoofing and i would like to say this"try not to call too many times about this because i'm not interested in getting an GE home security alarm system for my home and so try not to call too many time because i'm not interested in getting an GE home security alarm system for my home and removed my phone number off of the calling list because i'm not interested in getting an GE home security alarm system for my home". and so this needs to be investigated because yall need to find out what woman called my house about getting an GE home security alarm system and i'm not interested and i want my phone number removed off of her calling list and she called at 3:12pm inthe afternoon and that was on 11/2/16 because it says"unknown 313-XXX-XXXX" on my caller id and so this needs to be investigated because i have found out that this is a scam and a fraud that this home security telemarketing company is doing and so this needs to be investigated because i want my phone number removed off of her calling list because i'm not interested in getting an GE home security alarm system for my home and so this needs to be investigated and i want no further contacts by this GE home security alarm system telemarketing company about getting a GE home security alarm.

They are calling my cellular phone with an automated message “this is Todd with GE Home Security.” They have called my cell phone 17 times in the past three weeks. Each time I block the contact, I receive a new call with the same message from a different number. I consider this harassment and a violation of the communications law regarding cellular telephone contact via an electronic recording repeatedly. I simply want my number removed from their call list but have not been successful in doing so. When attempting to call back the number, I receive a message the “survey has ended.”

Some of the recent numbers they have called from include: 704/274-3604, 704/935-2407, 408/556-4000, 704/931-5602, 704/893-8052, 803/556-7820

I have been getting repeated calls (from different numbers) from a Jason with GE Home Security. This is definitely a scam / fraud as they try to obtain your credit card number and social security number. The number Jason called from is 404-891-5625 (im sure its fake or true number being masked).
