I payed $4.5K for a relatively new transmission with 10,000 miles on it. Four months later, while enroute to Seattle for a new job, I broke down, and discovered that Gearbox had put a defective transmission in my car. It was giving all kinds of diagnostic error codes, smoking, and leaking fluid everywhere. They refused to reimburse me or the shop.
