Like everyone else when I tried to contact HP to install my printer I was directed to the Geek Tech Care phone number not knowing it wasn't HP. I paid $200 to have my printer connected...which took several hours. All has been operating well until I tried to change some settings on my laptop only to find out that Geek Tech has changed my PIN effectively taking over my laptop. I am pissed and I want them to return the control of my laptop back to me..

I've been a loyal customer of Geek Care for several years now, and I can confidently say that they are the go-to tech support company for all your IT needs. Whether it's issues with my laptop, desktop, printer, phone, email, Outlook, or even Wi-Fi and networking problems, Geek Care has consistently delivered exceptional service.

Their team of tech experts is not only knowledgeable but also incredibly patient. They take the time to listen to your concerns, explain the issues in simple terms, and provide efficient solutions. No matter how complex the problem seems, Geek Care always finds a way to fix it.

What sets Geek Care apart is their dedication to customer satisfaction. They go above and beyond to ensure that your tech-related headaches are resolved promptly. I've had emergencies where my work was at stake due to a sudden computer crash or network issue, and Geek Care was there to save the day.

Their pricing is transparent and reasonable, and I've never felt like I was being overcharged for their top-notch services. Plus, they are prompt in their responses, whether you need help via phone, email, or on-site assistance.

I highly recommend Geek Care to anyone in need of reliable tech support. They have consistently proven themselves as a trustworthy partner in keeping my digital world running smoothly. Thanks to Geek Care, I can confidently say that I no longer stress about tech problems because I know they've got me covered.

So don't believe on few fake reviews. Just try Geek Care service and you will feel diffirence between other service provider and Geek Care.

Thank you, Geek Care, for your outstanding service and support!

I had HP Deskjet 2600 printer problems and contacted what i thought was HP Tech support person. After several hours, the printer did print and I was charged $699 for the service. A few weeks later the printer again would not print. I contacted the number I was given and someone with a carpet cleaning company answered. They indicated that teu get several calls like this. The charge appeared to go through PayPal but they had no record of the tranaction and then it shows up on my Capital-One account. I've filed a dispute but Geek Care says it was a litigimate charge. My printer still will not print without connecting a USB cord.

I was having an issue with my printer so contacted Best Buys Geek Squad where I have a maintenance plan. I was trying to make an appointment and somehow got kicked off of the website. I tried again and thinking I was connected to Geek Squad I thought I'd try the online Tech support. Geek Care never identified themselves as Geek Care and many times in our conversation I referenced Geek Squad and they went along with it. Even when I said I should take my computer into the store they said that the problem was that I had a bad Network and if I went into Best Buy where their Network was good that I would come home to a bad Network. Honestly I believed I was talking to a Geek Squad tech and turned over control of my computer for nearly 3 hours. They placed about 4-5 new icons on my desktop and tried to sell me a three year plan for over 1000. I told them I would only pay for a year to see how it would go (450. plus). They had me make out the check to Geek Care and had me sign it on the back and scan it. I was a fool! I really should have known better. Of course your check is posted nearly immediately and since I had signed it my credit union could do nothing about it. I was sick wondering how many things they might access on my computer so changed all accounts and passwords and had the real Geek Squad clean up my computer and remove the icons. I learned so much. I am a 40 year educator and a senior and have dodged this kind of thing for all of that time, whether on a phone, mail, or computer. These guys were slick (James and somebody else). I tried to call them at 800-370-0823 when I realized their game and only got a voice saying "cannot be reached from your calling area". Shame, SHAME on Geek Care for taking advantage. I am at fault for trusting, but that won't happen again. Hope you guys sleep well at night knowing that at some point you will be held to account in your life!

Exact same thing happened to me. I was trying to make an appointment to take my computer in to the store. I was VERY skeptical, and so wish I had just said "no". I kept trying to figure out if they were related to Geek Squad, and they never acknowledged, nor denied being Online Support for Geek Squad. I also have Total Tech. I had taken it in to our local Best Buy about a year ago (when it would still run, sorta) and I was told "it was old and they couldn't do anything". So I thought maybe what James said made sense and would work, thinking he was with Geek Squad. I also bought a single year to see how it would go and had the check experience just as you described. My computer does run well now, whatever they did during the 3 hours they had control of it. I just hope they didn't get any of my information. Yes, indeed they were slick--James and Adam. The crazy thing, was that they actually worked on my computer and improved its performance before requesting payment. I'm afraid to think what they would have done to my mcomputer if I'd refused to pay. I feel like such a fool--I've fought a couple of these guys off in the past few years, but this time I honestly thought they were Best Buy Geek Squad oneline

GeekCare posed as Geek Squad. I have a maintenance plan with Geek Squad. My pc was slow and I needed them to check out why. They logged into my pc. Tried to sell me a $700 firewall. They initially said they could only accept a check, which I refused. I tried a credit card and thankfully Chase declined the charge. Be Ware!

They lie and when you ask direct questions and they talk garbled to be evasive.

After I had their security installed, they called to advise of some issues. I needed some internet security and the cost was quite high, but if I paid in Target gift cards (to save them paying taxes), it would be cut in half. Yes, I was a sucker. After playing this game, I began the process of getting the refund, only to have the billing person screw it up, costing me 2 hours on the phone with no resolution, but a promise to call back today and pay me for my wasted time yesterday. The number he left is disconnected and there has been no response to messages. Their website phone numbers do not work. I will probably file a police report, but don't expect this will go anywhere.

My name is Terry Moore and this game called Geek Care is a set up also Geek Tech took my money through a game on line. The game is called Bingo Party. I want my money back... Do not play this game, you think you are winning and all they do is take the money out of your account. This is the worst scam I have ever came across. Geek Care / Geek Tech stole my money out of my account and I wanted it back.

This fraudulent company passes as if they are Geek Squad, they are NOT~! They wanted me to pay $529.00 for Firewall protection and some other software. When I asked if I could pay it through my Best Buy credit card and they refused I became suspicious. When I did not want to give him, Ron Edward, my Visa card number he hung up on me! BEWARE of this company!

I went on the Best Buy site to make an online appt. It popped with a chat, so I thought why not. The chat person said they would conntect me with a technician...which they did. They found a Trojan on my computer (or so they say) and I had MS drivers that had been turned off. Did they turn them off and then show me? I don't know. They suggested (strongly) that I let them add several programs to my computer for more protection and security - and wanted $300 for a 1 yr subscription, (higher prices and longer subscriptions were available) - and with the 3 year plan ($600) I would be able to load all this stuff on my husband's computer. Still thinking I'm talking to Geek Squad, I asked why the charge since I have a Total Care Package with Best Buy and only pay for parts they have to replace. My question was never really answered - just said, "This is what it will cost if you want us to do this!" So I originally said OK and was going to do the 3 year subscription. I started to feel really vulnerable and started feeling uneasy so I started doing some research. In back tracking the phone number, I found out it was Geek Care - not Geek Squad. This made me sick to my stomach. I called them back and faced them with that fact and wanted to know if they could just put my computer back to where it was and forget the whole thing. NOPE - it was too late, they couldn't stop at the point they were. I voiced my displeasure at the deception and said I would only pay for the 1 year subscription. And you can't refuse to pay because at this point they are still in control or my computer. They don't release it until they get the money. My computer turned out OK - I guess I have a lot more security and now my Windows Update works (which hadn't before), but they deleted 4 programs I had without asking me first. When I called back and asked why, I was told they weren't compatible with the new drivers they installed. That was a lie. I reloaded the 4 programs I had and they all work just fine. One of them was a VERY OLD version of WORD that I'd been using since 2002. Instead they put Microsoft Office on my system - I don't want all that extra crap in my system that I will never use. When I called them to ask how I would ever reinstall this if I had to (since I had no download or disk) I was told that it was good for 1 year and then I'd have to pay about $100 to have the subscription renewed...or just go online and buy MS Works myself. This really made me mad. Just another way for them to get more money out of me in the future. Thank God my old old version installed and works just great. If they would have been honest up front would have made a whole lot of difference. Now I'm going to give them a bad rating even thought my computer seems to be working fine.

I let Geek care in my system, mistaking it for the Geek Squad. They may want me too pay for going into my computer. I am afraid of what they may have done -- all bad? any good?I was looking for help from the Geek Squad at Best Buys, but not getting it, but, something puzzling, a failed call to that Geek Squad could lead to a call from other offices who are also shown as calls from “Geek.” I followed one of those and let them go on my system, and they seemed to be making positive changes, but then they wanted me to pay them by writing a check to be scanned and sent somewhere. After fearing it was a scam, I stopped communication, but now I get a call from “Adam” (1-800-394-7753, x 147) who says he is not Geek Squad, but “Geek Care” in Santa Monica. On the Internet, I could not find a connection to the Geek Squad at Best Buys who seemed go think I am the victim of a scam. As they were in my computer system, I fear they have enough information to get the funds they asked for a 3-year agreement (in the $800-$900 range). The call implied that they would reverse changes they had made if I don’t pay them. I don’t know if this “Geek Care” is legitimate. They intend to call back, and I don’t know what do. Adam may have been making positive changes, but I don’t if he and “Geek Care” were trustworthy. Any suggestions? Jim Eilers, 510-465-1843. [email protected]

I have tried to get my computer to talk to my printer for over a week. It was a mess! from my children in my absence. I felt like I'd tried everything and even got no satisfactory results from members of my family to help me, as they have considerable experience. They couldn't, I was looking up on the internet for a tutorial and I don't know how I got your Geek Care Online pulled up but I got nervous and thought I'd made another mistake, but I decided to stay on and see if this could help as I had a deadline and REALLY needed my printer to comeback in its actual position of working.
I was blessed to get "Mr. McKenna” yesterday! He was wonderful! He is patient, gives clear instructions, and is brilliant...HE fixed all MY PROBLEMS! I am so grateful to have my computer and printer friends again and talking to each other. He was very polite and followed through with everything he said he would do. I AM HAPPY! This is the best resource I could have. I would recommend this service to anyone. It's even better than asking anyone else because it keeps the peace. Thank You Mr. McKenna for fixing this complicated problem.

Having Technical Solutions with Geek Care is the SMARTEST WAY TO FIX MY MAC.
& I believe if I would take it to Apple Service Center. I won't be getting it resolved as soon as I got here. So, thanks they did Mac repair fast local on-site.
I know when nothing but a slow computer will do
They do repair computers and tablets network in my friend's homes as well as in the office.
Technicians were incredible -- patient, articulate, and knowledgeable.
They fixed a network issue by installing a small amplifier that's been persisting for a year while explaining what it would take to correct and prevent it. They were efficient and worth the price. Would use this service again in the future !.

I recently bought a computer from Best Buy and i was facing some issues with my computer so i decided to visit the best buy store for help i went in the store and the store staff asked me that without appointment they won't assist me so they asked me to go home and make an appointment first and than i can visit the store but when i tried to make an appointment online i faced lot of issues because the website are user friendly so i tried to make an appointment on call but when i called on their tollfree they put me on hold for hours & hours and the call never connected to any anyone. So than i tried to contact "Geek Squad" because i had signed up for their tech support services but i faced the same issue with their services too. After wasted my wholeday with all this crap i decided to contact someone else who can help me to fix my issues.

So i went online and searched for some technical service provider and than i got contacted to "Geek Care Online" and when i asked them that are they same company like "Geek Squad" they clearly stated that they are not having any association or affiliation with Bestbuy or Geek Squad as they are so honest so thai i decided to let them fix my issues and they eventually fixed all my issues in the given time frame by them. So I am happy with their services. Also I am very pleased & satisfied with their work and about the fact that they fixed my computer without any bugs or mismanagement in the same priced quote.
They never forced me for any upgrades or upselling even though I enquired them for some premium plans as well. I am satisfied with "Geek Care Online" services and very much dissatisfied with Geek Squad.

I have an existing Support contract with BestBuy GeekSquad, When I bought my new laptop, BestBuy asked me to get a Total Tech Support plan.
I paid $200 for the Total Tech Support plan which was supposed to take care of all the issues with the PC. Recently I had some issues with My PC & my dad tried to contact the Local Tore as well as the online support for GeekSquad but we had to spend hours on the phone & still were not able to get in touch with any proper support representative who could help me out to fix my problems, then I went online to search for Good online Support. Then I got in touch with GeekCare Online who helped me out to sort out all the issues, they never forced me to buy anything, I used their services for almost a month, then I liked their Support plans. I found their services reasonable in comparison to what I used to pay usually.I have been in touch with them multiple times, they have been always professional & humble. I am happy & satisfied with the work done by the technician.I don't understand the fact that how some people who pay sometimes Huge amounts of money through Gift Cards and various other sources, are not able to understand the difference between GOOD & HONEST  people & Real Scammers. It's clearly visible that somebody is trying to Defame these Guys who are at least working & taking care of Customers with utmost responsibility. I am quite happy & Satisfied with the work done by GeekCare Online & whoever is trying to Abuse their name or Defame them is complete Blackmailing which is completely absurd.
