Email “confirming” purchase of “Windows Defender protection Plan with 24/7 technical support”. Related charge of $429.99 for 36 months which has been “auto debited” from my account (on this day). Supposedly tried to contact me on “registered phone number” - deduction to appear w/in 48 hours. Contact number (+1 (833)-256-7149 for questions or cancellation of this “Renewal”. Signed by “Ethan” billing manager.

No such contact was initiated or completed by me at any time. This was not the only email received ( over several weeks) addressing the same scam.
