Big mistake (and one I usually don’t make).
I ordered on November 26 and received an immediate confirmation email. All still seemed legit.
This week I began wondering about the shipment status and why I’d never received the promised tracking number.
I have emailed them and received bogus automated replies that do not respond to my specific questions but “signed” by different customer service reps.
Calling their customer service number gave us the following message: “We’re sorry, this number is temporarily unavailable.”
I’ve tweeted their Twitter account (which doesn’t seem legit) and of course received nothing in reply.
My husband did some deeper research and found their domain name has only been active for 177 days.
We’ve started a disputed through our bank(despite their suggestion in their emails not to dispute charges through your bank or credit card).
I’ve also written two other emails asking them when the last day to order to receive and item before Christmas and whether overnight shipment was available. This was a test to see if they would respond. They did not.
I posted this to Facebook and have had several others share similar experiences. Obviously this site and the people behind it are taking advantage of online Christmas shoppers.
This website was pretty smartly done. I’ve discovered through my husband that the badges they have aren’t necessarily legit either.
