The scammer pretended to be GeekSquad and pretended to try to fix my connectivity issues with my printer. I mistakenly gave them access to my laptop. They claimed that a robot was now in my computer and that they were going to give me a refund into my bank account. They deposited $2400 into my account, but then the man freaked out and told me they only meant to deposit $240. He said he was going to lose his job and for me to go to the nearest grocery store to buy four $500 Visa cards. He wanted me to stay on the phone with him. I drove directly to my bank and had it resolved. In the meantime they had taken back all but $4 of the $2400 deposited and moved my savings to my checking account.
