Type of a scam Tech Support

This company uses Geek Squad through Best Buy as their sheild and pretends to be them. You automatically are connected to somebody and then get on your labtop just like Geek Squad through Best Buy except they use a different website, look through a couple apps and then tell you to fix the issue you owe them money. I was told I needed to pay $500. As soon as I told them I thought it was incorrect the man became very defensive so I told him this call needed to end. He then exited out of the program which allowed him onto my device and hung up the phone.
