Copy of Purchase Order Receipt - Geek Squad Protection

Received an email from - Earthenwa - [email protected] on Monday August 28,2023. The subject matter heading was: Copy of Purchase Order Receipt. Upon opening the email it had three headings - Tax-Invoice - BEST BUY - GEEK SQUAD

The body of the message read: This is a notice to inform you that your order for Geek Squad Protection has been successfully processed and for that you have been charged with an amount of $299.00 for 2 years.
At the bottom it said: If you unauthorized this transaction or if you want to cancel or upgrade or for any other queries please reach to our helpline: +1(858)432-6575
Or we will assume you are okay with this.

If you receive a similar email report it as SPAM immediately. Do not call the phone number. If you check the English in the above supposed "order statement" you will see it is all wrong & not written by someone who is fluent in the English language.

Email stated it was an invoice receipt for a payment transaction for PC Protection for 2 years and that your direct-debit for autopay will take effect in 24 hours. If you would like to cancel this membership call 1-858-432-6575.
