This is a copy of the email. When I called to inquire about the ‘so-called charge for renewal. I was told the only way to cancel was to go to their website while on the phone and they would walk me through the cancellation. I looked up the company and called their contact and I was told this was a scam.

I was sent the email below. I called the number and I'm sure I never used this service/company when they were telling me I did but didn't give the date, just 2018. Then said it would automatically renew unless I gave them access to my computer, which I did not. I told them I'd take my chances with what they're threatening and if in fact they do have a credit card number I would file a dispute at the time of the charge. Email:
