Scammer's address575 Fifth Avenue NY NY, NY, USA Scammer's email[email protected] Total money lost$300 Type of a scamEmployment
Mr. Gold put an ad on Craigslist offering employment opportunities to both me and my boyfriend. They set up an
in person interview at 575 Fifth Avenue, in a respectable office building in midtown, interviewed us together, offered
us jobs that we were to start in 3 days. Then they told us we needed to purchase our uniforms, including taking
down our sizes, and that we would be reimbursed. They demanded that we use a Zelle account to transfer the money.
I was unfamiliar with this service, and the "secretary" took my phone and said she would help me to make this transaction.
Of course by the time we got home we realized we had been scammed out of $300.00 Look out for anyone who asks for
money before starting a job! I learned the hard way!

It was a job advertisement on Cragislist. A job position for front desk. I was schedule to go to a Job interview. I went and I was "hired". I was told to pay a $350.00 for registration fee and "hazmat" course which was fake. The numbers that was given to me was a third party app phone number. FAKE COMPANY. Also, Cragislist IS A BAD SITE AND THEY DIDN'T DO ANYTHING.
