We received a letter from the Georgia Business Compliance Services stating we needed to renew our annual registration now to avoid late fees. We were asked to complete the attached form and mail in a $135 check or we could go online and do it. The website is simply a Google Forms site and nothing official with the GA Board. In the letter it states it is not affiliated with the government, but with the notice date, due date and "please respond by XX-XX-XXXX to avoid late fees" it is VERY misleading. Make sure to READ the entire letter and DO NOT send any money to this company. Georgia will allow you to file DIRECTLY with them.

This organization sends out official looking annual registration documents to companies with whom they have no affiliation, asking for a fee of $135 to file an annual registration. My company has no relationship with them, the website they provide does not exist, and the address appears to be a UPS store at 2870 Peachtree Road, box 984. At first it seemed legit, then I recalled that I had already filed the annual registration online with the state for a more logical annual fee of $50.00. Apparently, these [censored] simply send out notices to LLC corporation addresses that they can access online very easily, and hope that somebody sends them funds. They should be stopped!
