Acting as Georgia Power turning off power

Got a call on my business phone from this number claiming I owed them
Money or they were going to shut off our power in 45 min. Demanded I went and got cash of 1,300 and meet at a location they gave to keep from our power being turned off. Claiming they are Georgia Power.

I dialed a Ga power number. A guy by the name Matthew Alexander answered the phone.I didnt have my account number. He asked for my social. The bill was 99.00. He took off 20.00. He said that I could call him directly and the number given was 844-277-5457 and that when I call to ask for him …extension #404

He said that on my statement it will show up as Stallion digital.

Caller states this is Georgia Power, your power is schedule to be disconnected in 30 minutes, press 1 to speak to a represent. I select 1 out of curiosity and a gentlemen came on the line. I said what is schedule to be discounted, he said address and I said why, h said of non payment I told him that's a lie and hung-up the phone.

Phone call from someone who claimed to work with Georgia Power. Told me he had a work order to come over and turn off my power to my business. Told me to call a number to confirm that. I did. I panicked thinking I owed a bunch of money to GP. They told me I HAD TO PAY NOW in order to keep my power turned off. I was quoted 3 different prices that I owe. They told me to go to a local GP office to pay. They said to use a prepaid card and I must use cash.

After that, I was told that I could speak with the finance dept to get full description of my statement. I looked back into my phone to call the number back and all the phone calls that took place disappeared from my phone.

Gentleman called late last night stating he was from Georgia Power and asked if I would like a gift certificate. I stated if you were from Georgia Power you would be calling during the day and he hung up. Something is just not on the up and up.
