Contacted breeder through link on their webpage, www.kyleshepherdspuppies.net regarding a German Shepherd dog we were interested in adopting. Breeder contacted us back through email ([email protected]) asking questions regarding the home to make sure it was a suitable fit for adopting a German Shepherd puppy. Asking questions like have you on the German Shepherd before? Is there any history of animal abuse? Do you have a veterinarian? Also gave some background information about the breeder. He and his partner have been breeding for six years. They do not breed to make money it's more of a hobby but they want to make sure each puppy gets a forever home. After about three days of email conversation regarding adoption process, care of the new puppy, AKC registration, I called the breeder to discuss deposit. Breeder agreed to a $300 deposit to ship the dog and pay the remainder after dog arrived in AZ. Western Union or Money Gram to Herbert M Kane, Newport News, VA. Was told I would be contacted in about a day or two with the AKC registration paperwork and the shipping/flight information on the puppy. Did not receive any paperwork or flight information so contacted the breeder via email text message and voicemail received a response stating I should've been contacted by the shipper with further information. I had never been rude contacted by the shipper when I address this a day later email response was there was a mixup with the shipper the shipper will be contacting you later on that day. I asked again for the AKC paperwork and the name of the company that will be contacting me only received a response after asking for the information 3 to 4 times. The company name was sky pet movers which upon research was a scam company. Sent an email back to the breeder regarding the company being a scam, still had not received the AKC paperwork, websites still showed puppy available I had put a deposit on and no flight information had been received and the breeder never contacted me back.
