I was trying to reach eBay customer service. Found this website, Get Human, online and called the phone# +1-201-603-7352. A woman, evidently from a foreign country, who spoke very fast, answered. I told her my story of trying to speak with a person, rather than an online chat, and she said that she could help me. She asked my name, etc., then said that my account showed a red flag and asked if I knew someone in ****as they had purchased a *****on my eBay account. She then asked if I lived near a store, such as Dollar General, RiteAid, CVS, etc. I said *****. She said to get in my car and go to said store, and she would stay on the phone, and to let her know when I got to the parking lot, and that they would track me to show that I lived in the state on the account and not in ****. She then said that there would be a message on my phone to read. It said ( Your account ****** is credited with $200.00 on (specific date) for Physical Verification Process. This entire process may take 30-40 minutes. Ref ID ******. Call (***)***-**** for any assistance if required. Thank you for contacting us. eBay Inc... She asked me to read this back to her. I started to, then stopped, telling her that this is a scam. She kept trying to assure me that I needed to do this in order to help me with my situation. She wanted me to read the ref. # to her which I refused to do, telling her that l am going to call my bank. She got very frustrated, and said that I could do that later. I then told her that I was hanging up, which I did... I received a message later asking if I had resolved my situation... I called the ScamPulse.com finding out that there is no such business, that the phone # is registered to a residence, and that this has previously been reported as a scam.
