I was on Google looking for the main website for global entry and this came up first and it looked so similar to the global entry. I had applied for last year for myself so I went through the process but thought something was suspicious when the credit card kept getting denied.

Then they would go back to me an email me asking me to finish payment which I realize their symbols look so different from the symbols from last year’s global entry and that’s when I started to get suspicious

Not sure how I actually ended up on their site. Searched for Global Entry application renewal and ended up on their site. Not sure if product is legit or not since I backed out of the system due to the cost presented at the end. The charges they wanted to charge did not seem in line with what I was expecting. Granted, its been 10 years since I first applied and knew inflation caused things to go up, but this cost was over $125 additional. Did a little search and discovered this was a scam site.

My girlfriend attempted to apply for Global Entry when clicking the first link on Google; the website appeared to be a global entry site taking her personal information such as passport ID and Driver's Licenses number plus more. Once filling out all the information, we only noticed the website was odd once it asked for more money than the normal global entry amount. After closing out of the site, we found the legit global entry website, but at that point, we had already entered most of her personal information; we stopped before entering her credit card information.
