During this process, they signed my name on a service loan for $9,000 without my consent. I was unaware that this had happened until I received emails confirming a completed loan that I never authorized. I immediately contacted the loan processor to cancel any services, as I did not agree to anything.
I also emailed the agent to inform them of the cancellation, and I received confirmation from Dan Whooten at Service Finance Company the following day. Despite this, I am now receiving collection calls from Debt Collectors International, demanding a 10% cancellation fee, claiming I did not cancel within their timeframe.
This experience raises serious concerns about the business practices of Mio Home. They appear to be targeting new home buyers and engaging in unethical behavior by signing them up for predatory loans without proper consent. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this company.
