I found this drone (Black Bird 4k) advertised from a site found on a sponsored Google ad on 12/16/24. There were reviews, which while not extremely lengthy, looked to be legitimate. There was also a "count-down" clock and instant pop-up messages as other "customers" where supposedly adding this product to their cart - suggesting that due to high demand, inventory was limited and that I would lose this great opportunity if I didn't act quickly. While I was not specifically targeted for this scam, the Google ad did mimic a consumer reports/review site that would recommended vetted products. So, I purchased the drone, a case and insurance for $120.40 and initially received an error message when I entered my CC info. I thought I had failed to enter required information, so I repeated the transaction and it went through. I immediately received an email confirmation about my order. Unknown to me, my husband received a fraud alert on his cell phone about the purchase, but we were not together at the time so I didn't know about it until hours later. After the drone did not arrive for Christmas, I made a call to Customer Service (hours listed in Pacific Standard Time) - I had to leave a message as no one answered my call, but within hours received a follow-up email regarding the "shipping" of my order. However, the USPS tracking number has never worked and as of 1/7/25, my drone has still not arrived. To my knowledge, my credit card information has not been used for any other fraudulent activity, but I fear the drone will never arrive and even though a 90-day return policy was advertised on the website, I'm going to be unable to get my money back if I do eventually receive it.

Stealth Bird 4K is flying around the internet stating this is a great drone and how much bang you get for your money. Well when I received this "drone" it is nothing more than a plastic toy posing to be a drone. There is no quality or substance to this small piece of plastic that the company says will fly. After reviewing it on you tube, I realized I have been scammed. I have tried contacting the company everyday since I received the drone in the mail, and every time it states, "We have higher volume number that normal" or "we can't take your phone call right now." I have reached out to them everyday through email and through phone. I cannot get anyone to return my phone call or to send me a return authorization label to send this piece of junk back. They are scammer and take your money quickly and they are never to be heard from again.
