Rep spoke with heavy accent and difficult to understand (from another country?) ...could hear others in the background giving out same information to another. Told me that if I did not follow his directions specifically, I "would have to pay the consequences". Not able to explain what McAfee was. when I told him I had never signed up for the "hacker service", he Transferred me to a supervisor who told me it was an anti-virus program. They wanted me to give them the capacity to download an app enabling them to "take control of my computer" and that was the only way they would be able to cancel the charge and sign me up for a lesser fee of $149. I hung up and replied to their email saying that I was not comfortable giving out that information and they were not to charge me the fee quoted and that I was reporting them to the Better Business Bureau.
