The scammers have a Facebook page called Pets for adaption and rehoming in Virginia. Several individuals selling or rehoming puppies. I picked an individual who have many good reviews and seemed trust worthy. The individual asked for a deposit to secure the puppy. Then they needed the money before the puppy was to be shipped. I paid a total of $750.00. Then they asked for more money to ship the puppy. I told them i could come pick up the puppy. I was told that he would help me pay shipping if I came up with $150.00. The next day i saw the person sharing the same puppy. I called a number and it was another person that was scammed. I asked for my money back put he refused. He asked for more money and when i refused and told him it was a scam, he stopped contacting me. They deleted me from the group and blocked me. I received message for others who have been scammed by the same person.
