I've gotten [censored] like this in the mail in the past so I'm no stranger to such scams... Not only that, but the way that it's presented is just straight whack all together... The packing slip is printed from a computer at someone's house and straight glued on to the cardboard envelope, the check has "OFFICIAL CHECK" typed dead center on the check which no check ever has... EVER... But here's the detailed story, I hope it helps...

Just got a package in the mail via United States Postal Service wit a letter and a check enclosed... The letter heading stating; "THE Survey Instruction Letter" followed by "YOUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT TASK" which then goes on and on wit detailed instructions mentioning taking the enclosed check for $1,868.29 and depositing it into my account and immediately after sending verification it was deposited to the number listed in the letter... Then instructs me to go to a bunch of different stores to "purchase a MAXIMUM of 2 cards from ONE store visited" until I have obtained a total of $1,500 in AMEX gift cards... Once I've purchased all the gift cards it then wants me to scratch all the cards to reveal the numbers and take pictures and send the pictures to the number listed as well as email them to the email listed as well... These type of people are straight TRASH! It sucks that people go to these measures to [censored] people over just to come up because they're too lazy and straight pieces of [censored] to where they don't want to get a damn job instead...
