Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan
The phone number they texted me from, 502-353-8506, is associated w/other scam-related activities in various states. The email from my friend was proof to the fact scammers had hacked her social media account and her contacts' list. It looked like she had emailed me and had actually already tried this method and had her money delivered to her. I wanted to know more about it. The scammers sent me the email from her account making me believe it was true to be able to win the money. They are insistent that I buy the $350 money cards so I don't lose the opportunity to get $40,000 delivered to my door. They keep asking me how soon I will be back from the store w/the cards. They want the numbers when I scratch off the back of the money cards. This allows them to get the money I paid for the cards. They will not be bringing any money to me. This is a scam and now I need to let others from my social networking friends' list know my computer has been hacked and they might get emails saying I have won this money and they might get hacked too.

Type of a scam Identity Theft
Linda ******* ******* at 5:03 this morning 5/18/20. I tried to answer it but there was no answer. This happened 4 more times. I never could answer the call. It showed as a missed call from No Name Germany work, and I received a facebook message that ask, “have you heard something about the ongoing GGf program? I did not know what that was until I looked it up this morning. I called my cousin on her land line and she said she had not called me and never calls online. Her phone number is ************. I just talked to her and she said, she had some trouble last year on facebook messenger with stolen identity and would like to get rid of this problem. We have suffered no loss except that Linda ******* has lost her picture and identity on facebook messenger and whomever has it also has her contact list as I am a contact of hers on facebook. Please advise what can be done about this. Thank you.
