We were trying to buy a British Shorthair kitten, to be shipped to us. Buying a purebred animal locally or out of
state, unfortunately is difficult to do as many 'legitimate' sellers' sites are not well maintained/out of date etc to
begin with. We were attracted to the immediate availability of the kittens, reasonable pricing, nice looking website
and initially easy communication. We were asked fair questions about ourselves, and given a legitimate contract
very similar to what i have been given in previous transactions buying a kitten from a breeder.
The scammer quickly led us down a path of making several payments of $1304(which would initially be
rejected/delayed) totaling almost double the purchase price quoted as $652, which we cannot recover, and we only
realized we were being scammed when the shipment part of the transaction began. We did ask for a picture of a
state issued ID which was given to us but of course is probably fake as well.
Seller initially said the price of $652 was all inclusive of shipping; at the last minute, after 'booking/registering' the
flight, shipper contacted us saying they would need us to use a ridiculously expensive higher level of crate
(supposedly totally refundable) costing additional 1000-2000 more. We were given a fake pet shipping website,
and i looked up several versions of it to find it on a scam list. I also found a very similar site, pawsbritishshorthaircattery.org, with similar reviews, setup and content. All pirated from other legitimate breeders' sites. I found a real pet shipping website and scam page,
[email protected], that made it very clear what we were seeing, which I'd never encountered before.
The scammer insisted on using 'friends and family' with paypal, initially saying the payment didn't go through and
sending us a screenshot. It actually did go through and my credit card company told me I can't recover the money
even though I did not receive anything for it.
The zelle payments also are non-recoverable, and once again, looked as if they were not going through initially but
in fact have been delivered.

Determining the route of travel greatly depends on the available schedules by the airlines and the weather! If a
pet/kitten is being shipped during the colder months, the route of choice will be south for connection flights, during
the summer we will search for routes that are north for connections. We always check the weather temperatures
for the safe transportation of the pet/kitten.

encountered a little problem. We won't be able to deliver your kitten because he has been held here because of
