private money lender. Private money lenders are very good at loans for person or persons wanting to
flip homes. These lenders are also called Hard Money Lenders. After connecting over the interned
with above firm, they directed me to a site to complete the application process. Some time after,
received an email that i or my LLC., Allied Value Investors, that the entity was approved. I agreed to
the terms of the loan. At this time, Gibson has tax ID of the LLC. And then this is where unsuspecting
public can get scammed. The emailed wire instructions were to an individual in Huntsville AL, a
personal residence. When I asked for why they using individual and not my payment direct to the
business, I received BS. Most people do not know that wire instructions are the basis for when most
wire fraud occurs. As a Broker / Owner of Real Estate Office, confirmation of wire instructions are
critical before any wire effort. i did not lose any funds, so why am I taking the time to address this to
your attention. I ran a scam check on the internet and this firm DID not come up. I want other
individuals to avoid the opportunity to miss the wire instructions. I have all emails and notes from the
one phone call exchanged. The address for 206 E High Str Jefferson City, MO 65101. Search that
address and no 3 business names show up. All the names on the internet associated with Gibson
seem fake web pages. I counted at least 15 adds on variety of FB groups across the US that
advertise to their site.
I am respectful of your time and efforts and aware that this may fall in the lesser category since I
checked wire instructions. However, i want to aid others as I cannot be the only one to get scammed
to the edge, just failed to jump (potentially lose 3500.00).
