i purchased a apple an ebay gift cards from walmart and wallgreens and niether of them hade the money on them at all

Purchased a Visa gift card at Fry's food store. The balance on the card said $100 when checked. When we tried to use it, the error said a card reader error. Called the company and was never able to get them to correct the error or refund the $100. They kept asking for more info and never followed through to correct the issue.
