Person scammed was offered a remote position as "Shipping and Receiving Clerk" through Indeed with a salary of $45,000/year or $3,750/month. There was a probationary period of 31 business days from the first day of shipping (28NOV2022). Today is the 31st day of probation and she has not recieved any payment for working. The offer letter looked legit with required certifications on the contract and even including an EIN in the contract. It is hard for her to pay bills when she hasn't recieved payment. She is also a single mom of two.

I was offered employment by this company. I was was supposed to be a shipping and receiving clerk and was told after my 1st tasks I would be on a 30 day probation and on the 31st day I would receive payment via any payment method I choose. I was sent packages in the names of different people they were supposed to be clients. I would accept the tasks upload pictures of the contents I'm the packages on a user panel connected to the website they would then upload a shipping label for either UPS, USPS, or FedEx. I would then download the label pit it on the package that was to go out and drop them off at the locations the labels were for. I did this with various expensive items I kept a record of everything i sent. All email conversations between HR and myself and messages between my so called supervisor. I did this for 30 days on the day I was supposed to be paid I was locked out of my portal and hr had stopped responding to my messages. I have been trying for days to contact them for payment. Also they made me upload a picture of my photo ID on the website saying it was to verfiy my identity for payroll purposes
