I called Roy the next day on the phone to let him know we were displeased with the inflated pricing and to try to reach a compromise. He basically told me that he didn't agree with me, it is their business and they can charge what they want, and we agreed to it before he did the work. He said he'd "talk to his boss" and I have been unable to reach him since.
We do not know what Roy's business is. He actually wrote "gig harbor garage door" on the receipt. There are several permutations of "gig harbor garage door repair" and "gig harbor garage door" websites with partial/bogus addresses and no e-mails. We suspect they are all related and I was unable to initiate a BBB complaint because of it...they seem to have figured out your system. I have attached a copy of the receipt with the cell number I was able to reach "Roy" initially with. Credit card charge (he refused to take a check) went to "locksmith and gara"
