I found the website https://gingermaligators.com/ and inquired about their puppy named Riley. After chatting with them I paid thru their website. Then I was told that payment link was broken, and to pay thru Zelle. But she gave me another name and email to use, so I went and changed the info to what she had told me, Anthony Davis, [email protected]. This was on a Sunday, so the banks were closed and said she wasn't seeing the payment on her end. She wanted me to send her a video specifically stating that I should say "I authourized the $1000 payment", and she also insisted that I NOT MENTION THE PUPPY." I thought that was a red flag, and refused to do that. At that point I told her I thought she was a scammer and she sent me a copy of a drivers license. I am now assuming that isn't really her, ans that she is posing as that person. She also contacted me thru FB, under "her sister's name" Sue Carroll. I don't know if that is really her sister, or a made up name. So, with all the red flags, I called my bank first thing Tuesday, since Monday was a holiday, and cancelled the cc payment I had made on their website, and tried to stop the Zelle payment. But, I have since learned that Zelle will not do anything to help when you've been scammed. I was to too bad by the bank.
