Unauthorized charge on my card

Never even heard of this company before. And got a $120 charge on my debit card.

TOTAL SCAM--DO NOT GIVE GIZMO-EXPRESS YOUR MONEY FOR ANYTHING!

Placed an online order via PayPal for a "Professional Electric Knife Sharpener for Straight and Serrated Knives Diamond Abrasives." which we received on 05/06/2021. Cost paid totaled $123.99 for this item (Free Shipping). Initial email sent to [email protected] on 05/08/2021 to request complete refund. Product WAS NOT electric, but instead required use of a USB port, no electric connection! Copy of invoice, order # emailed back 05/08; on 05/14 they replied needed a photos or a video which we then emailed on 05/14/2021. Their response on 05/20/2021:

"We are sincerely sorry that our products quality does not meet your expectations.

We are still working on providing good quality products with cheap price, your feedback is useful to us.

If you want to send the item(s) back for exchange or refund, the return-shipping fee needs to be afforded by yourself.

Considering the high shipping fee to return it(them) all the way back to our warehouse, will it be possible to keep the product.

As a compensation, We can offer a 30% discount to you.

Please advise if you agree with this approach. Thanks."

On 05/21/2021, we replied did not want 30% and requested return address as per their website

Response on 05/28 was. "You need bear expensive shipping ,Please advise if you agree with this approach. Thanks."

Six emails were sent to them beginning 05/28 which stated: I wish to return the item as indicated in emails below. I am aware of cost of shipping. Again, please send the return address. Thank you.

Last email to them stated: Where is the return address for this product? At least have the decency to respond to the multiple requests made for the same!

As of today 07/01/2021, no return address has been provided by gizmo-express. NOTE: Return address on original package shows: RETURN TO: James Charles Less'More Ltd 860 Foster Ave Bensenville, IL 60106 (Search of this address shows multiple associated scams!)

Stuck with useless product; false advertising by total scammers!

I wish I would have seen this site before buying. Shopped on Google Shopping, probably my first mistake, and found the item I was looking for for a nice deal. Not something so inexpensive it should be fake but thought I was a savvy shopper. The item I was looking for was a stretching tool, and the description on Gizmo's site used the patented product images, descriptions, even listed full retail crossed out, then the discounted rate. Very deceptive! After ordering all seemed normal, except it took 5 weeks to arrive. When it finally did it was a piece of garbage from china. Obviously, they had taken the real product and used a mold to create plastic replicas. The material incorrect, the mold is hollow, they screwed useless feet on the bottom, and no logo. Absolute waste of time and money. Lucky for me AMEX is very loyal to their customers and after disputing the charge immediately refunded me the $60. This site should be put out of business quickly, what a scam!

Ordered an air shark tire inflator and received a cheap China knockoff brand without the 12 volt battery and the 12 volt charger. can't get in touch with anyone to get the battery or the charger so I'm stuck with a piece of junk that doesn't work for $59.Not a real company. I should have looked at the phone number first...it's a China number... and no one answers.

BEWARE! May 15,2021 I bought a JBL Flip 5 speaker from them after reading reviews that gave them 4 & 5 stars. Those couldn’t have been true. I received an email from Items Way a company I’d never heard of and a tracking number that didn’t work. Once I translated the Asian words to English it said “page not found “. I then Googled Items Way, 767 Ruckman Road, Flushing, NY 11351 the address on the invoice they sent me and found out it was an global package tracking system for items from other countries. I had to use ParcelsApp.com to track. I entered my tracking number and it said that the speaker was in Yanwen, China and had been moving around 4 days never leaving China. When the speaker was delivered it was an obvious fake JBL Flip 5 speaker! It wasn’t in a protected box like it should be. The box says JBL Flip 5. The speaker doesn’t have a bar showing the charge level. There’s no orange JBL sign, the sides don’t say JBL. The charging cords are not orange but black. RUN from this SCAM! I’ve received 3 different addresses from this website making returns very hard and you have to pay for the shipping and return it within 7 days of receiving it.

I also ordered a Flip 5. All of the 4 and 5 star reviews referred to it as a JBL product. It is not. It is, at best, a knockoff of the Flip 4. I disputed it with PayPal and they said the seller was willing to refund me the full price once I returned it. Of course the catch is that return shipping is at my expense. All I had to do was to repackage it, find an international shipper (30 miles away), pay the return shipping and pray that they had someone there that could interpret the return address (王建军
天榮路3號天頌苑頌映閣G座38楼5室天水圍, 新界 HK) Naturally you would want to pay extra for confirmation that they received it. In the end, you would wind up recovering a few dollars if that. My suggestion is to write it off and warn others.

This is a scam. Knock off brand peephole door cam. I placed order on 5/12 and received it on 5/25/2021 for my doorbell.
I agree, it is not a Ring brand but a x smart home brand.
I am disputing the purchase with paypal as the product is not worth $59.00.

They are a big scam. I ordered the ring doorbell camera and got some cheap knock off. Then was sent an email after I complained, that I can send it back at a high shipping cost to myself. Below is a picture of what I got and her is their email.

Got me too. It took 18 days to receive my doorbell.
It is obviously not a Ring brand but some knock off x smart home brand.
I am disputing the purchase with paypal as the product is not worth $59.00.
The online reviews of the product are very poor.

I disputed it with Paypal .
Gizmo Express will refund the cost if I pay return shipping.
The cost to return is not much less or more than the purchase price.
Avoid these clowns like the plague.
Scam artists is too kind a term for them.
Return address is an apartment in Hong Kong.
They pretend like they are an American based company.

I had the same problem as Michelle. Their listing said a Flip 5 but never mentioned JBL. Their pictures were Photoshopped to remove the JBL tags but nearly all of their 4 and 5 star reviews referred to it as a JBL. What I received was a knockoff of the Flip 4 made in China. My real Flip 5 was made in Vietnam. I filed a complaint with PayPal but now the Gizmo website no longer lists it. Lesson learned. Run, don't walk, away from this website.

This website is a scam. Selling fake products and knock offs. I ordered a what was advertised as a JBL flip 5 Bluetooth speaker and got a knock-off product. They also sent me a fake tracking number. I sent them an email regarding fake tracking number with no response. I finally went through PayPal to file a complaint and they finally got back to me saying "to be patient." So annoyed with the whole transaction. Don't use this website!

Same as previous complaints…ordered Ring Peephole Cam from Gizmo-Express and 1 month later, received a cheap video doorbell V5 instead. When I asked for a then to send me what I ordered or refund my money, they said I would have to send back the (fake) item at my cost for a refund. This is a scam!

Purchased Ring Peephole Cam for $59.99 the only option to pay was using paypal and the USPS tracking number when searched came up with a bogus USPS shipping partner called FAST TRACK EXPRESS INC... called the USPS to check if the shipping partner is legit because nothing about this transaction afterwards seemed normal.. the USPS couldnt verify it.. so I checked here.. the ScamPulse.com site about a possible scam regarding the website I made my purchase from. and there is at the time of typing this out 1 other who has stated the same thing regarding the Ring Peephole door cam being sold from the same https://gizmo-express.com/ site that I bought mine from
